Keep the KPX250 pics coming folks. Thinking about suprising an old childhood friend with one of these for helping me prep a house for sale after my dad's passing.
What color should I choose....?

I'm partial to Green but all three colors look good. Can't go wrong on any one.

I took the KPX to the end of the world and back. Well to the Gulf of Mexico anyway. Such a beautiful cool morning to ride. Lots of people out riding. I guess everyone had cabin fever so I wasn't riding alone. Took a nice cruise threw the Twisties going through the marsh.

With all the beautiful weather we have been having I've been riding the KPX and Vulcan S to work. Nice cool mornings in the mid 60's and low 80's on the way home. It don't get no better than that. lol The KPX can consistently hit 81 mph indicated which is actually 76 mph GPS. I only have a little over 300 miles on her thanks to all the rain we had but I'm making up for it. My truck hasn't moved since Sunday and that's only because i could fit the whole family on the bac of the bike. I came close to telling them to take there own car. I got to say, after riding both the KPX and Vulcan S all week my wallet is still full from not having to fill up the truck. Next weeks weather looks like a carbon copy of this week. I guess I'll be racking up more miles.

The KPX curse is lifted? Lol. I know you may have said it before, but how much do you weigh? We're seeing about a 2-3mph difference depending on weight of the guy riding.

I'm starting to do the same thing and using the bike on these chilly mornings. I still hate driving in traffic to work but at least I'm getting some miles on it. Back out on the trails in the mountains this Sunday!! Let us know if you ever end up through the Atlanta area and we'll get you on the best trails up here.

I'm 5'10" 175 lbs. I'm really streamlined. Yes the curse has been lifted and I'm making up for all that time I missed out on riding. We've been kind of busy on weekends playing music so we haven't been doing much off roading. We do plan on making a vacation trip around Thanksgiving at one of the local ATV'dirtbike campgrounds. There's about 27 miles of trails there.

Jerry: at what rpm are you hitting 81 on the speedo? I assume close to or at max rpm? Im geared with my Templar X the same as you (13/42) but havent gone past 7k rpm yet so not sure what my max speed will be yet.. i also weigh around 180. My assumption is that with same hp figures, same wheels and same gearing and weight we should have nearly identical top speeds, with the exception that im on knobbies

It's somewhere around 8500 rpms.

Knobbies definitely hurt the higher speeds.

I love those places when they aren't crowded. We've relegated ourselves to using OHV trails as they're never that busy on Sunday and there's countless ones here in North Georgia. The private trail systems are always getting jerks going 65 in an atv through the middle or rutting up any of the muddy parts.

The park we usually go to is well maintained and policed. They have a one strike and your out rule. They don't play around with idiots. The have a couple of section just for mud riding.

Nice! That's the way to manage those. Too dangerous otherwise!

New Blue KPX 250 on order

After spending a month debating whether or not to get a new or used Japanese dual sport, Royal Enfield Himalayan or Scram 411, Templar X, or KPX 250, I finally decided on the KPX 250. Thanks @JerryHawk250, I used your coupon code to get $50 off through Venom Motorsports.
