Fuel Line Replacement???
Hi Everyone,
I have seen and heard many people saying that the rubber fuel lines on the Venom X22R are susceptible to dissolving (or degrading) from using the wrong octane gas. Now I have no idea whether or not this is true, but I would like to find out one way or another. Also, IF it is true, what size of a replacement hose should I use (or buy)? Also, does anyone have a link for a replacement hose to buy??? I really don't want to have any damage done to my engine from anything that I can prevent in advance... Thanks in advance... Joe... |

take a piece of fuel line down to local auto parts store, they'll sell it to you by the foot... if you don't have one already add an inline fuel filter while you're at it.

High octane ethanol fuel will not hurt the fuel line but fuel with ethanol will. BTW you don't need high octane fuel for these bike unless you have done mods to the engine that would require it. Pure regular ethanol free fuel is all that needed. Anything more is just a waste of money.
