Would a Hawk Sprocket fit the xpect?

https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0068...images_section

This sprocket seems to be feeling everyone’s hawk 250.

I had looked at it before I noticed it had too many holes. But you don’t even have to fill all the holes. The hawk apparently also has four bolts just like the Xpect.

It doesn’t even show any measurements on this ad. So it’s a little bit hard to tell. Just one picture of the sprocket. But everybody’s really happy with it on the hawk.

Is it possible that the xpect and the hawk will take the same sprocket?

the linked sprocket has 2 sets of 4x holes with different hole diameters...So it is designed to fit 2 types of 4 stud hubs.

It is likely the same, many interchangeable parts on the china bikes. The diameter of the center hole and bolt circle are the two important measurements( and chain type) 428 or 520. Jt website should show dimensions.
The hawk nuts were heavy on locktite mine had to have a plummer torch and impact wrench and still rounded one nut off.
You'll also need a large pair of eyelet type snap ring plyers

Incidentally, has anyone ever seen lock washers like they use on the xpect?

Looks like you need to bend them to remove the nuts. Odd...

45 but the overall availability of these sprockets wasn’t good. I ordered the stock sprocket (46) because funding these in the USA right now isn’t easy.

I was mostly just curious.

Has anyone seen these lock washers on the xpect before? I dint know the right way to handle them.

If most of your roads and tracks are flat with few geographical hills and mountains you might do better with 44 to 42 tooth rear options.

They are not, and I would not. Lol

It’s not a bike for road riding too much. Especially this summer. I’m doing the Northeast BDR Adventure route into Canada.

1. Funding should not be any different for the 46 tooth sprockets. Check with your bank. They may have a per-tooth prorated payment plan.

2. Those are old-school locking thingys, from the era before Loc-tite. They work. Bear in mind that the vast majority of these bikes go to third-world countries, so cheap and simple solutions are best.

Damn typos. Lolol.

I had a venture capital company all lined up and ready. I went in and did the dog and pony show. They loved it. They ate it up. But then they found out I was going to stick with the 15 tooth front sprocket. And they decided to pull the funding. Something about I was going to be too slow on the highway.

I tried a friends and family round, but they weren’t interested. They were prejudiced against Chinese bikes.

That just leaves the bank. They had a layaway plan that worked perfectly for me. I can pay for one tooth per month for the next 46 months. I almost didn’t qualify, but, at the last minute they took a little pity on me. I did have to put down payment for five teeth in advance though. I guess I won’t be able to gas the bike up for a while.

That's a relief! I was concerned you might get desperate enough to try loan sharks. The kind that sends a big guy out to break a finger (for starters) if you miss a payment.
