Where abouts in Iowa are you? And what brand are you looking for?
I'm in Omaha so I keep an eye on China bike dealers in the area. There's an Apollo dealer now in Iowa City, and an SSR dealer in Atlantic. Obviously, there are plenty of online dealers as well. Bemonte, Venom, and Orion get good reviews here. I got my Apollo from Orion and was happy with the transaction, but if I was doing it again, I would seriously consider the dealer in Iowa City. |

I could pick it up in a day as opposed to the week I waited for my Orion Apollo to be delivered. The delivery company wasn't great-- I got a notice that they were coming on a Thursday, so I took the day off work to sign for it. It didn't show. The next morning, they sent a notice that it was running late and would be delivered that day. It did show up, but I wasn't happy about the no-show the day before. So, delivery wasn't great but it wasn't a disaster, either. However, I think I'd rather just drive to Iowa City to pick it up myself if I were to get another one. If you check out the Iowa City dealer, please report back as to what they're like and if there are fees that aren't reflected in their pricing. |
