Thats great! And i appreciate the link.. i emailed JH for his timing key a couple of times back in November but never heard back, good to know we have an alternate option

That is great to hear! But i have to ask, what do you have to do to install it? Anything special, or does it just drop in? Also it say that key does positive and negative timing, which do we need for our engines?

Sorry for probably the really dumb questions. I haven't gotten to work on one of these bikes/engines before and never did any timing work before.

You will have to remove the flywheel and cover and remove the stock key to install the new key. You will want to advance the timing. The hardest part is removing the flywheel. A flywheel puller will be necessary.

The flywheel puller a basically a long bolt.
It took me less than an hour and went smooth, but I have read others on this site that had issues.

Correct, the CG puller is basically a long bolt but the CB take a special puller. I ended up using a three jaw wheel puller but was not the best way to do it. It took a few tries because the puller kept slipping off.

The link to the one i bought is dead. I don't remember the exact size i needed right off hand. I'll have to look at it when i get home tonight to see what i have.
