Wider Footpegs

HI,

Just wondering if anyone has found a set of wide footpegs they have purchased and are happy with? The aluminum ones seem a little risky. I would love something bigger for my size 13's.

Thanks,
John

I'm curious about larger foot pegs as well. My size 15 Wide boots barely hang on to the stock TT250 pegs.

These are the ones I used on my TBR7. The bikes from China generally seem to be the same. I had to throw them against a bench grinder to adjust the width down a bit, but otherwise just fine. Tighten down all the little peg things to make sure they don't fall off.

I am not a giant like you guys though being a size 10.5, but these are definitely bigger. I agree, the factory foot pegs seemed small even for me.

I bought some off ebay, but had to weld and grind some to fit right. Csc offers some that may bolt right on.

I'm not too worried if there needs to be some slight modification to get them to fit and function. More concerned that the cheaper aluminum ones won't hold up. And the better looking ones are starting to get to be to many dollars.

Thanks,
John

Mine is holding up thus far. It is better quality than the factory, which is not saying much.

I used steel pegs because I didn't trust the strength of the aluminium ones, and steel was easier for me to weld and modify.

I'm going to try these. They seem like they should be able to work. I like these because the pin hole is suppose to be 8mm. The bad is they come from China, so will take a little while to get here.

Received the new footpegs today. They fit with no mods. They are stainless steel. Significantly larger then the stock ones. These are just what I was looking for.

I found these at my local Honda dealer and you can also find them online. About $50 though.
