Tt250

I’m looking into the TT250 now. I know it has a lot going for it and I’ve read some threads on it. My question is to especially anyone who’s owned the TT and other China bikes. Is it really worth the $3000 they are getting for them? I called CSC and they seem first class to me. He told me if you pre order and change your mind before you finalize the deal they will refund your full down payment, I like that

Please reference my post (#8) on this thread:
https://www.chinariders.net/showthread.php?t=29053

I feel the CSC is worth every nickel of $3,000. My neighbor helped me adjust the valves on my wife's TT250 at the 500 mile service interval. I had a question about valve lash settings. I called CSC and asked for tech support. I was on hold for less than 5 seconds. Scott picked up, I explained my question, and within 2 minutes I had all the answers I needed. My neighbor was absolutely SHOCKED. He worked at a local motorcycle dealership that sells off-road and dual sport bikes for over 15 years. He couldn't believe I had tech support on the phone so fast!!! He is sincerely impressed at the level of quality of the TT250's, the ease of maintenance, readily accessible and inexpensive parts.

If I could start my journey into dual sport riding all over again knowing what I know now, I would order the exact same TT250's.

Thanks for that Hunnicutt! I know tech support is huge for some people, not really too important for me. Not because I know so much but just because I like to fix things, taking things apart and learning is one thing I learned from my Father. But good on CSC for customer support!
I called CSC and asked about gearing, they said it comes with a 17front and 50 rear. Have you changed yours and what are you running if so?

herbie!...my V-Strom brethren....

I have had two TT250's in my life (ours and the neighbors) and also, multiple Hondoids.

Here is my thread on the TT250 I got for Mrs. 2LZ, at the time. The pics are gone because I O.D.'d my folder but if you feel like reading, this was my experience.

When it comes to China Bikes, there is no equal to CSC, IMHO. Much of the bikes are the same, it's about the support.

EDIT! Page 14, posts 206 & 207 will save you a ton of reading on my opinion.

What's up 2LZ! Both posts were very informative ,I agree with the Toyota / Lexus analogy too. I think Illinois is a little better than California with the strict laws but I think we are catching up. Want to go to a political rant but I'll bite my tongue. I really didn't want to get stuck with a bike I can't register to ride on the road so the TT250 is a safe bet. I am just concerned about the extra cost, If it had a CB motor I would jump on it, as of now I'm on the fence. Thanks for the help

I'm keeping both bikes with stock gearing. They max out at around 65 MPH, which is fast enough for me. I need the low end torque for the terrain I ride (mix of dirt roads, fire roads, national forest trails, and surface streets).

Never owned a tt250, but I have used a ton of theirnparts to fix my Hawk over the years. The quality difference is there. I wouldn't hesitate to buy a bike from csc
