Great looking bike, don't really think your going to fool anyone when your stickers say "Honda" but your crankcase say's "Hi-Bird"...

the wire colors matched the hibird plug to the lifan gear indicator,, i just cut the plug off cus it didnt match up.\\\


now how do i take (hi-bird) off the motor block???

What about the tach was the hibird prewired?And did the turn signals match up?Did any of the plugs match or did you cut all the wires and soder?

i cut and soldered all the wires,, but the colors were the same,, i took the tach right off the cdi box

justinkr58,I just recieved my speedo/tach combo.Could you tell me wich wire you ran from your tach to the cdi?How did you splice into the cdi?

I would really like a little more info on the battery box. I don't have a welding machine, so bolting is my only option... it looks like you bent some Glav/aluminum/steel bar to make the box bracket/holder? Is this correct?

The speedo/tach is awesome....want one for my bird now...lol.
Also love the rest of the pics it looks factory! 8O .
On that i do have to know how hard it was to get that spedo and tach setup and was it easy to calibrate it to your tire size and wheel diameter? Any input to these would be greatly appreciated as that i do want a different speedo/tach setup on mine and my wifes birds that not only are pleasing to the eye as yours are but functional .
