It comes with a 38mm to 51mm adapter. The common aftermarket exhaust I. Find most people here using comes with 38mm mid-pipe. So this slip-on should work with it. Just one example.of many such adaptors available. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074CVHHGC...ing=UTF8&psc=1 And if you keep looking you can find this slip on sound baffel that should work to quiet down the ebay exhaust. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07FDZB1S5...V476MWJSPXJ4M6 Last edited by Mrmazak; 02-18-2021 at 07:34 AM. |

I just don't get the resistance to the quiet inserts I mentioned before. 30 bucks, and it's literally only 3 bolts to remove and re-install with a 3mm allen wrench.

Because then I'll have to buy another muffler too if I want to be able to switch it out by switching the mufflers.

Or simply use a 3mm allen wrench and take the 5 minutes or less to remove or swap out the silencer for the standard size tip.

Its easier to swap mufflers. It's held on by a pin. Literally takes like 15 seconds to swap. Pull pin. Pull muffler. Put muffler on. Put pin back in. I had to get a bolt with a hole for this to work. This whole bike comes apart in like a few minutes. I want to be able to swap while out. Start at home quiet, pull muffler and replace with one from backpack. Run loud. I I'm not fiddling with a damn baffle.

So hang on are you going to be carrying both and swapping mufflers every time you enter and leave your place of residence due to the neighbors? erm that's not as practical as you think.
Honestly id just get a Stainless steel pot scrubber bung the muffler exit get to get around the block, then open the pipes and let loose. whats that about $1 and less than 1min |

There's always the old banana in the tailpipe option.. I remember that from Beverly Hills Cop.. joking
In all seriousness yea swapping mufflers will be a super hassle and it sucks you have to worry about it to that point, hopefully whatever option you go with is easy and not much of an inconvenience as is being put upon you

Eh. I have a big backpack. Was thinking of putting a bolt on the other side and mounting the non functional one there where people put the taco tubes. Just don't really feel it.

Like others here said, it just doesn't seem practical..BUT if thats what you want to do and are gonna do, just do it. Have some great gloves too for when the exhaust is hot..because it does get hot quickly. Sucks that you live around neighbors like that.
