Skyteam Dax St50 Engine Build
Hello
Im in the middle of building a 139fmb engine from varies parts and pieces, but I am having a hard time finding some quality parts. The main thing I wanna build is a reliable 72cc 139fmb, that can go sorta "fast" when the mood catches you. Here are the parts Im having a hard time to find, atleast of good quality: Reinforced crankshaft. Reinforced valve springs Reinforced Manual clutch springs. Reinforced clutch plates Quality carburetor. If you know where I can find any of these parts please send me a link preferably to a store in europe. If you got any tips on how to get this motor as reliable as possible, I would be glad to hear them. I hope you guys can help me out <hura> Cheers! |

Just get yourself a 125-190, throw it in, and call it a day. You could probably get something from Orion, in the Netherlands: http://store.orionmotors.nl/
They also sell parts, but it's probably just better to buy the complete motor. |

There is a Facebook group called DAX ST/70 CT70 clones (sorry, I cannot log into Facebook at work, so do not recall the exact name). There are many European members (the owner is in UK) with the clones who should be able to steer you in the right direction.
But, as Franque posted, you should be able to find 125cc engines relatively low-cost used from people doing engine swaps on DAX clones, pitbikes, etc. I don't think new ones will be outrageously priced if there are few used ones.
