add on light options
I searched for a thread that I saw here awhile back and couldn't find it, someone posted some small led aux lights and if I recall correctly mounting brackets that fit the fork tubes. If this sounds familiar or you posted it I would love to know where to get them if the price point is what I remember.
Thanks in advance. |

My brackets are too long though, they vibrate like hell when driving. I need to shorten them up and drill a new mounting hole/slot. I like using the bolt and welded nut that is on the metal brace, so it's easier for me to just re-do the top that mounts to the fork clamp. Good lights though. I installed a new main fuse block under the seat, ran my power to a relay and off to the switch on the handlebar, mounted in a housing that I 3D printed in ABS. Works awesome. These lights put out a little more light than my LED headlight, so times two, angled off to the sides to fill in the dark spots, love it. |

I used 3 layers of aluminum 1/4 thick I think 3/4 total... and big bolts with lock washers and loctite...

Hey Ina..
So what I did on mine was the same Nilight lights, but I used the holes for the reflectors on the front fender. Just had to drill the plastic out the slightest bit to mount. Like barely drill to the point I could still remount the front fender reflectors if I didn't like the lights there. It's really worked out well so far and I'm glad I did it that way. The front headlight sucks and I have performed the LED upgrade. |

Here are the same lights Ken linked to but mounted in the spot on the fender I was talking about. Should match up to your bike perfectly and save some money on the bar mounts.

Slightly off topic but Kenstogie your TBR7 looks really good. I love how the bike looks without all the decals...

Thanks G, I think I will try that mounting option and see how it works out for me.
your right, the stock head light is all but useless. it looks impressive when you look directly at it but a flashlight would be an upgrade as far as seeing where your going goes. |

One word of warning.. I did maybe not the smartest thing and wired the new lights into the high beam switch...
All is great while riding country roads at night and can see great.. then a car comes up and you switch to low beam.. you go from seeing everything to seeing nothing and a pretty scary feeling on a back road at night. I wish there was an upgrade to the headlight. |
