Help with ATV model identification
Hello all. I was referred to this forum by the folks over at VMC with regards to trying to identify the model of a 110cc ATV that was given to me. I started a refurbishment assuming all the frames were the same but I have since discovered that is not the case. I was hoping a Cheetah body would fit the unit I have but would rather have more info if available before procuring that body kit. I have attached a few pics if anyone can assist. All feedback is greatly appreciated!

Do you have the gas tank for it? I would work backwards from there. Match the gas tank if you have it to what VMC sells. If not take measurements of the mounting bolts where the gas tanks should go. Order from Amazon vendor with prime so its an easy return if it not the correct one, trail & error, that's how i did it.

From what I have discovered it's impossible to find a "correct" fuel tank. Everything with these quads is either hit, miss or modify to fit. There is more luck involved with parts ordering than actual accuracy. At this point, I'm totally ok with a Frankenquad as long as it runs, is safe and my grandaughter has a blast with it.

I would say a one piece body would fit and a raptor style is a safer choose. Less screws to line up, compared to a utility style body.

The raptor looks similar to the Cheetah which is on the way from VMC. Hopefully only a small bit of mods will be necessary if at all. I have another 110cc quad that I have been constantly comparing this build to however, it is a totally different frame design including different rear swing arm and front A-arms. Engine is identical though.

Cheetah body is a no-go. Even with my better than average skills trying to put that thing on and make it look good at the same time just isn't going to happen. Looks like I'll be returning the body kit and going back to the drawing board. Doh..

An hour or so, there was a guy on the China Bikes North America site asking for parts for a Kazuma Falcon. It jarred my memory as that particular model was popular back at some point, although being a member here since 2006, it is hard to pin down the years considering how many brands we had (and still continue to have) as far as quads go. But, thanks to this thread and you mentioning VMC, I put in 'Kazuma Falcon' into the search bar and found they have 50 parts listed for the Kazuma Falcon. Not sure if there is any way to tell from the photos on VMC's site if any of the body parts will work for you, but here is the link, anyway. https://www.vmcchineseparts.com/page...9T5T57JDLo-67o

Thanks for the heads up. I looked at falcon bodies and ruled them out early on. I have a buddy that has a couple bodies laying around so I'm going to borrow them to see what I can get to fit, if any. May end up keeping one of those and doing some painting to make it nice.

Already sent the kit back. Basic issue was that the kit came in at least 8 body parts with the top front and back units not being able to line up at all with the frame mounting points. In addition, the tail piece had an upwards angle that the frame would not support. Also, the side units that covered the fuel tank had front arms that are designed to attach the the frame directly above the shock mounts but on my frame the drop so low as to completely cove the shocks . There was absolutely no way to attach that body without butchering it and using zip ties, which is a further no-go for me. I have a buddy that has a couple 1 and two piece bodies he is going to let me borrow to see if I can narrow down what I need to be looking for.
