Help needed to wire 3 phase rectifier to stator
I have swapped engine in my bike and new engine is dc cdi and it's stator has 12 poles coils.
It has 3 wires coming from its stator yellow color and two wires from the pulsar coil. The yellow wires were slightly short and brittle so I replaced them. No I have brought a 3 phase regulator. The regulator has two connectors each had three wires One connector has 3 yellow wires and other has one green one red one black. The engine in question is China ohc 150cc. My questions : Question 1; Can I connect any yellow from stator toto any yellow on rectifier? or thos had to be specific? In that case I would need to know how to trace the wires as I replaced old wires on stator. Question 2; Earlier I connected the three wires to charger rectifier and didn't connected its other cables to battery and as soon as I revved the engine the rectified blasted probable its capacitor.. What could be the reason for that too? Question 3; What are the red black green wires for? Question 4; What could be the output of the 12 pole stator? Regards |

Any yellow wire can connect to any yellow wire.
Red goes to battery + Black goes to battery - Green grounds stator to frame/engine Its been a while but that is how I remember it. |

But battery negative is already grounded to chassis.
And from rectifier 5 cables coming out two are from the pulsar coil. And three yellow cables from the stator.. The pulsar green is not grounded to the stator body or Fram its coming out out of plastic body of pulsar insulated cable. The green, red, black are from the rectifier. |

And why could it have blasted when no battery was connected to rectified? |
