Are you able to record a video? If so, get the bike on a stand, crate, a pair of jack stands, or whatever you can manage so the rear wheel is off the ground. Then, with said wheel off the ground, run the bike and record yourself going through all of the gears (even trying the ones that aren't there). Being able to diagnose an issue like this is hard through just text on a forum.

Otherwise, maybe find a buddy that is familiar with bikes to lend a hand. Depending on what state you live in there may be a member here close enough to make a trip to come and help you.
