Its funny I've seen in the videos where at one point they came with the forks not fully extended. The tops on mine are flush like in the video and it came that way. When I removed the axle from the packing bracket it popped a bit like it was under tension. Is there anything that I need to do to the rear shock? I'm kind of stumped as to why it isn't working. I really appreciate you replying to me so fast. Im really ready to get this baby finished and ride! haha.

Usually when a Hawk is delivered the rear shock is not bolted to the swing arm, so you have to lift the back of the bike and bolt it on. Then the forks also need to be raised to their proper position and then the front wheel installed.

Can you take a picture of how your bit sits right now?
