TBR7 to SuperMoto?

OK, so what do I have to buy/modify to convert my 2020 TBR7 to a supermoto?

Probably start with a 17" front wheel. That is if your real wheel is 17" stock. If not, you'll want a 17" wheel. I am guessing you are not planning all out racing, so for most of us, 17/17 wheels and street tires are about as motard as we need. I had (still have the hulk of) a TMEC 200 Enduro which is a fairly typical Chinese dual-sport. Now, if you can find one, they only come with 21/18" wheels, but a few years back, the distributor that used to import them, offered them with 21/18" wheels and street legal knobbies, or 17/17" wheels and street tires which was my setup. I loved it that way! The same concept currently is the Motomax 250 offered by Peace Sports.

I recently sold my TBR7 and if it were me i would just put good street tires on the rims you have until you take the next step to a 17 inch front. The front forks are the weak link for any type of serious handling in that they flex too much. Bare minimum you will want to put a fork brace , it has been done and documented on here.

This set up would give you the look but you still don't wana jump this TBR.

I just got a Brozz 250 Recon and the front forks are much better suited to this as they are not as flexi. I only have 20 miles on so far and cannot comment further than that but will update when i have had a good chance to ride it on trails and dirt roads etc.

Just to let you know i did race supermotard for a while on a KTM 640 Duke (2004) on street rubber and a KTM 450 EXC on knobbies.

The moto max from peace sports would be a great choice if you were in the market for a better handling supermoto bike, still cheap too.
