Jerry, you’re pretty much my test mule for X22R items. My mirrors suck too and I’m ordering these as soon as I hit “post quick reply”. lol

The mirrors are a little smaller that the stock mirrors but way better. They have a blue tint which blocks out the glare. And don't vibrate like stock mirrors. This is something venom will improve according to Moose.

I ordered them. They’re surely better than stock.

They sure are. They stick out a little further so you see a little better around you too.

The filter is 48mm and the stock carb is 44mm. It might squeeze down enough with the clamp.

One more question tonight...

I firmed up my front suspension and it feels better. I’m 3 clicks from the maxed out firmness setting.

The rear shock bottoms out pretty easily. Is there any way to stiffen that up?

There's a load adjuster on the bottom of the shock. You'll need a set of spanner wrenches.

Thanks Jerry. You really are a huge help. The bike takes some adjustments to get it where I want it to be, but for the price, I’m enjoying it!

Plus, I don’t know what to do with myself if I don’t have a project and something I need to buy on Amazon!

That's what makes these china bikes so much fun. It's kind of like buying a kit and fine tuning it to your liking for a fraction of the cost of the name brand bikes. They are very reliable. My Hawk is almost 3 1/2 years old and i have ATV well over 5 years old and neither have failed on me. This new bike is much better quality than those are. Once you change that rear sprocket out you're going to really like it.

Yeah, I’ve been slow to change out that rear sprocket because I wanted to get the new air filter on and get it jetted a little better first. Next I’ll change the sprocket and then over the winter I will likely try my hand at head porting and also sanding it down a mm to raise compression.

I forgot to post the matching crank case breather filter when I removed the air box.
I also cleaned her up real good after a weeks worth of limestone dust collected on her. She cleaned up real nice.

I bought MY Chinese bike on a whim, lol! My buddy came over on his Grom-knockoff Venom something-or-other. When I found out it was street-legal, I HAD to have one! I ordered the X22 by accident. Thought I was ordering a 3/4-size Ninja-copy and was a little disappointed in its size, considering it only had a 125 to push it. I only had it a few weeks before it was stolen. After I got it back, it was SO ugly that it took weeks before I even wanted to start fixing it. I was HEARTBROKEN! I ALMOST threw it away, I was SO upset! Now, I plan on making this bike my training bike til I feel comfortable moving up to a bigger machine.
