Apollo db36 deluxe valve adjustment/cam cover back on

Thanks everyone for the help with my mistake taking the cam cover off. I got hondabond ht I cleaned both faces I applied the Honda bond. Followed all the torque specs and torqued everything down properly. I also adjusted the valves ....afterall that's what I initially wanted to do it was a pain reaching everything properly but its done. Just an update. Thanks again everyone!

You get an A+ in valve adjusting the hard way. Lol Happy you got it done. I did my valves yesterday morning. Exhaust side was easy. I did get the intake side done without removing the tank but I think I'll remove the tank the next time. Had a whole lot of swearing going on but got it done. 😆

Ha thanks Jerry! I made sure to take the tank off, it was so much easier. On this bike im not even sure it can be done without taking the tank off. I did a whole lot of swearing this weekend with the cam/head/valve/hondabond stuff. Thanks to you guys I now know about torque specs...and a ton of other stuff. I accumulated more tools as well that makes certain jobs so much easier. Good Job getting your valves adjusted. My valves were both almost completely tight so I put them to .004

Screwing up is the best teacher. I don't know so much from reading books!
