Right now I still have the stock sprockets. I plan on going either 15/40 or 17/45 very soon though. Thanks again.

Either of those are good combos and will give you better highway speed. If that chain continues to be an issue, this JT X-ring chain has 134 links and should not end up too tight on those sprockets. You'll likely have to remove a few links before installing...

Also check the part that keeps the chain in line. It could be pushing the chain as you drive. That's what mine is doing.

Just got a 2020 tbr7,same issue the chain is tight as a drum and the wheel is full forward. Never been rode. Chain has 428H stamped in it? If I removed the rubber chain guide I will gain some slack, maybe enough to ride and stretch the new chain then reinstall the rubber but IDK. Any thoughts?
