Orion RXB-250L vs Hawk 250
Hey everybody. I'm new here and new to Chinese bikes. I'm also new to dual sport bikes. I started out just looking at the little 125cc pit bikes to ride around my 2 acres, and then saw that for 1k more I could have a dual sport to actually ride some back roads and trails, and still ride around my yard when I wanted to. I think I've narrowed it down to either the Orion RXB-250l or the Hawk 250. The Hawk is appealing because of the lower price, but to me it looks like the Orion may be the better bike. I'm just looking for opinions on which is better in which situation, pros and cons to both etc. I would really like to find someone who has had first hand experience with both bikes. I'm also open to suggestions on other bikes to check out.

Welcome aboard. I kinda started out the same way. I was looking for an ATV and found the Hawk for less money. It was a no brainer. Both are good bikes. With the Orion being the better built bike for the money. If the Orion RXB-250l would of been available 3 years ago I probably would of bought it. Nothing wrong with the Hawk though. It's been a good reliable bike for me. I had more fun modding it than anything. lol

Thanks JerryHawk250. I kinda had the feeling the Orion might be better built, but it looked like the Hawk might be a little more comfortable. Hard to decide when you can't go sit on both of 'em. I liked the way the Orion sounded too, at least from the videos I could find of it.

I didn't learn about the Orion until after I bought my Brozz, like others I may have gone that route. The Orion is more of an actual dirtbike kinda like a clone CRF250F with plates. The Hawk, TBR7, Brozz, are much more basic in suspension, but more comfortable and basically are more suited for rough roads. If performance on a budget is your Goal- RXB, if you want more utility, range, comfort-Hawk or variant.
