Hawk/TT250/etc stainless spokes.

So, after the Supermoto wheel post came up, and out of my own curiosity, I started searching, and came across this company on Aliexpress that offers Stainless steel spokes in lots of 40 for about half the price of what a Buchanan's set would cost.
One listing by said seller. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/JQOR...4badPxopSg&s=p

If my memory serves me correctly, the 18" rear wheel uses 90 degree spokes in a 162mm length and 4.0mm diameter. The spoke nuts dimensions would be all that is missing if somebody has a spare sitting around.

The only thing I need to figure out now is some information on the front spokes. If I remember right, they are 3.5mm diameter. What I don't know is the head angle or length. Also the spoke nut specs Anybody have a spare spoke sitting around, or a wrecked rim they could pull one from, that is willing to do a length and angle measurement?

This would be an amazing option to have, not only because I simply like stianless steel spokes, but for guys that want to potentially run different rim diameters.

EDITED:
I went ahead and ordered one of each spoke part number for the TT250 from CSC with one spoke nut each. I figure for less than $12, why not? They list 2 part numbers for each, which I can only assume is inner and outer spokes. Now I have spares just in case. At least this way the actual spoke information can be documented.

The front spokes are the same as the TT250. Rear have been confirmed that they do not work. Rear are 162mm. These will work. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/GY-C...e7769cc35c8d7b

I had to actually search for a TT250 rear wheel picture to see the difference. Yep, definitely not the same spokes. Oh well. Only out 3 bucks for that mistake

I wish I didn't have to order a full set of them to just get the two I need for dimensions. I also don't feel like disassembling my rear wheel. just to measure two spokes. Condundrum.

Guess I will order the set from Aliexpress. I can always sell some off to other guys that might want spares maybe and recover some of the cost.

Well, if anybody wants some spare rear wheel spokes, let me know. Just ordered the Aliexpress set.

My main interest in this is that I want to also order the Aluminum rims I have been eyeballing on Aliexpress as well. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/6061...295d2e0eyGZk6B

If you dig enough through his store/listings he does sell them in smaller lots of 10 and 20 as well. Not very intuitive to find them, but they are there.

I have a spoke supplier in my vast array of people I know in China, I just got no clue as to what spokes the Hawk uses etc.

Steel and stainless steel possible as well as CNC ali nuts/nubs for the spoke ends

Well, I can give you whatever specs you need for the stock stuff once it all arrives. I am sure there would be a decent number of people interested in a way to upgrade. I am thus far unimpressed with the stock spokes and nuts on the Hawks.

My main interest is stainless steel spokes and nuts. If you can come in a decent amount under $200 with shipping included for a set of front and rear spokes, You would have a customer.

Got the front spokes and nipple in from CSC.

Measuring the same points as they show in this listing, everything is more or less the same, angle, diameters, even the spoke nipples. So for the stock rims these should work just fine. https://www.aliexpress.com/store/pro...14e92f4fCNEG4R

Lengths would need to be 230mm 235mm if I go off of their picture, and I don't see an option to custoize. Nor do I find any options for 10 or 20 spoke sets, so you would have to order 40 of each length in order to do it properly. I need to double check the angle, but 95 degrees looks correct.

I sent the seller a message asking about an order of 20 of each length to see what they say. Otherwise, you might have to split the purchase with somebody to make this cost effective, because if not it would actually be about the same price to simply buy from Buchanan's, and the Buchanan's nipples would also be stainless instead of plated brass.

So Megadan with the tt250 spokes did you order 18 for one side and 18 for the other side? I see there is two part numbers I assume inner outer.
