So far so good it's on its wheels now only issue is one of the handle bar mount bolts wants to cross thread I will clean it up with a tap tomorrow and I have to align the rear wheel and adjust the chain it is super tight. Gonna fill the battery so I can take it to get charged at lunch and call it a night.

Get some brake cleaner and clean up the oily film on the brake rotors too.

It's in km and even that's not that accurate.

It's a combination of km and the front wheel diameter. Mine has a 1.42 error - i.e. it reads 1.42x higher than actual mileage. I have no idea how consistent that would be across years and odometers.

Make a couple runs with a GPS to compare distances vs. the odometer and you'll be able to determine a ratio for yours.

Clip the leads to the Day time running lamp it's the small white base bulb in the headlight assay, pull the leads to this.

You'll have usb power wired to the headlight switch. So you won't kill your battery.

I had rewired my light to come on with the ignition like is should be. I also replaced the bulb with a bright LED.

Easiest way to get USB charger power is to put an SAE lead on the battery for a battery tender, and then buy one of a hundred options on Amazon for an SAE plugged handlebar mounted USB port. When you store the bike you can use that same SAE lead to plug into a battery tender, and it gives the lead something to do when not being stored.
