Torque specs for valve adjustment?

Just curious here. I watched a bunch of youtube videos on the valve adjustment and read through things online. I’m not finding any torque specs closing things up and finishing the job. For example, the valve lock nut and the valve covers. Do you all just snug them or is there a specific torque spec?

Those specs are not really given. I usually get a feel for how tight the are before I take anything off. But usually what I go by is get them nice and tight, just enough were they will not raddled loose. Get them nice and snug, and then some.

Yeah, snug is usually sufficient.

A Honda CG shop manual should have the actual specs.

M6 threaded bolt so I’d think 15 NM
It’s hardend so a little more then a standard M6 bolt which is 12 Nm

Most Honda lock nuts are tightened to 10n-m or 7lb-ft/84in-lbs. Being a Honda Clone, it should suffice.
