I don't need the tank lights (fuel low and high beam) but I would like a larger tank, mine got a bit rusty anyway

No lights on my larger tank or fuel sender unit. I think I may want to sell the larger tank with the panels it comes with, all brand new never any fuel in it. If interested send me a pm.

Larger tank with side panels.

Long term lurker finally created an account since you're the first person doing some asthetic mods that actually will make the bike look more like a Tricker. The only thing holding me back is I'm terrified it'll be too small. I'm also 5'11, could you please upload a picture or two on the bike and next to it. Really looking to grab one and do a supermoto/Cafe racer hybrid build.

I will put a photo up when done. I don't think it will be that bad, but I only ride 1/2 hour at a time. 40 minutes the most.

Some more progress, made a rear fender with some aluminum, rerouted some wires, and front end all together.

Wow, great work with that rear fender. I am envious of you guys that can shape metal so well by hand. I am only good with machines lol.

The bike is looking good. Quick question how did you end up removing the name on the seat? Want to do it on my magician.

Likely the same way most people have done it, a little acetone on a rag. The name is literally just painted on to the vinyl, so it comes off fairly easy. Just make sure to rinse off the area really well after to make sure you don't damage the vinyl.

I've used a little brake cleaner on a rag. Just give it a quick wipe and it's gone. Be sparing with it.

Frank,
Thanks for posting. You have set a good example of what I think these bikes are meant for. They make a good base inexpensive bike that you can customize to exactly how you want it and not break the bank. I think this part is more fun than the riding.

Jerry 100% on that.
When I mentioned to my wife I was getting back into a bike and mentioned I was going for a CB, she said " why don't you just get a Honda or Harley". But what fun is that? Right, been there and done that. I like to tinker and mod stuff.

Anyway couple of pics, only had white exhaust wrap on hand. Also made a inner fender shield out of some plastic sheeting to protect the air filter and found a R/C air filter for the breather. I rerouted and moved some electrical stuff.

Adjusted the valves today, from the factory there was no clearance, wow..

Found some mirrors and grips from a past project I never used and will post Saturday, might even have it all together by then.

Sorry for the boring photos lol.
