How many miles on your hawk/china bike

In 9 months I have traveled 3280 miles on my Hawk with no problems. The rear tire still has 1/4" knobs left & the front tire has hardly worn down the dimples in the center of knobs. I expect front tire would make it another 2-3000 miles.

So lets here your story of mileage & mishaps. Tires ect.

4600+ miles. Replace front tire about 3500 mile and the rear has about 1/8" thread left in the middle but looks like it could go another 2000 miles. 2016 models had a different front tire than yours. I replaced it with the same tire you have from a 2017 model and it has shown no wear so far.

Somewhere over 4,000 miles on our China Bike, a Bashan "WILL" 200... even with the high speeds I normally travel at (70+ mph), I think the stock "street biased" tires will see another 3 or 4k miles before needing replaced (another good thing about the bike and rider being so light)

Getting upwards of 110 miles per gallon if I can keep the speed down during trips high 70's to low 80's when I get into speed racer mode and hit the Interstate/Highways

Replacing a few broken parts with "Zongshen/CSC" TT250 parts... but I haven't "measured/modified to fit" the parts just yet been too busy Home Schooling the kiddo of late to mess with my motorcycles/vehicles

Like, 20 miles on the new one.

The previous on was around 3500 miles, 3000 of which were on the Shinko 705s, and i couldnt really tell if they were worn much. I wouldnt be surprised if those tires would have lasted past 10k miles at the rate they were wearing. I ran at 32psi front and 40 rear on the road.

Exactly 2,615 on my Hawk. Those 15 miles went on today when I did some running around. The weather is still pretty nice to ride today, I just threw on a hoodie and all was well and right in the world. Still on stock tires. Front is showing some signs of wear on the knobs to either side of the center, but very little on the center knobs at all. The rear has about 1/3 of the knob depth left. I think I'm going to go to the same Shinko 705's I have on the DR when the rear tire finally needs to get replaced. I'll do both at once, and try to unload the front tire for anything I can get.

On my 2009 TMEC 200 enduro, I had approx 12,000 miles, and then replaced that with a 2013 TMEC 200 enduro and put on approx. the same miles.

About 4K here since new in April/May 2018. Longest trips so far have been 140 miles on road and 125 miles of 1/2 off and on road. Freeway, gravel and baby heads are it's kryptonite.

Just gotta take care of it, keep an eye on things, and be premptive and you could easily put many thousands of miles on the Hawks.

If you park it for the winter, it is a great time to take it apart and grease the parts that need grease, check and change the other fluids, etc. Have it ready for next year.

I wanna take mine on one of those super epic adventure rides across the country, too scared it'll break down 2,000 miles from anyone I know though haha.

My Lifan 200 went 53,000 miles before the oil pump chain became too noisy for my taste. Replaced the engine with a non balance shaft model that has a gear drive oil pump. That engine has about 10,000 miles so far.

Chip, there are enough people on the forum that you'll never be far from help. If you stay mostly in the states, there's more than enough people who would ride out to pick you up and give you a lift back to their place to wrench on it. I think you would be just fine if you channeled you inner Ewan McGregor and took the long way round.
