well, time to test fit the panels...
here you can kinda see where i replaced the rusty metal battery holder with a plastic battery box. and the other side, where the panels do quite line up as well...but I'll try to figure out why later I forgot to pull the rear fender and paint it as well, so i'll do it later. I'll probably repaint the luggage rack at the same time. Need to get sme Armor All on that seat! Next up will be trying to make one of the headlight farings I have fit properly anf get it painted as well.

Lovin' this project.
How's the budget so far? You can't do much better than building around this OHC engine. I think they're great! Keep up the good work. Jason

I know that body parts/battery holder cost him $55, plus his bike which was $50.
(was the chain guard too beat up to use?)

i think i have abut $300 in it right now including the cost of the bike. That figure would be lower if I had better sources for parts than waiting for someone to part out a bike cause I have bought a few parts that i ended up not being able to use.
Of course now i look at the bike with the panels on it and start thinking how good it would look if I blacked out the motor, wheels and swing arm... next is the head light issue. then it will be re-gearing (new sprokets and chain) and new street tires.

AZ200, I think he was trying for ugliest bike, although it looks less ugly now, in its Mad Max-ish kind of way.
