Vader (gen 1) & ZS 190

One of the things I like about the Vader Gen 1 is the lower fairing. If you replace the stock engine with the ZS 190, can you still use the lower fairing? If I can’t have the Vader gen 1 with the ZS 190 and use the lower fairing, then other bikes become more...attractive!

Thanks for your help!

You're talking about that belly pan thing right? Looks like a scoop right below the engine?

It will with modifications according to some.

There's a couple guys on the "Clone Army" facebook group that have it. Not sure what needs to be modified though.

I ripped mine off by accident. lol

No Chinabike, the Zs190 has the same orientation on the exhaust outlet as the stock motor does, it's at an angle, so the aftermarket Grom exhausts will have the same fitment issues on the Zs190 as they do on the stock motor. Not saying you can't make a Grom exhaust work, but you will have to modify it the same as you would for the 125cc stock motor.,in other words it dont get any easier lol.

I really don't know about the Piranha motors exhaust port orientation ,I have spoke to Tech at Pitster Pro before via phone tho and they were "fairly" easy to get ahold of , and they seemed knowledgeable, i think they also offer a way to email in questions too, I'd just call them and ask or email em , I'm sure thats a real common question and they will know right off the top of their heads what exhaust port orientation is on what , and can likely suggest an exhaust or two to use ,although my concern would be that them being a business they are going to suggest one of their pricey ones rather than a budget one that will fit just as well lol but i cant really blame them for that.

No. ZS190 would use the same exhaust as the existing 125cc in the clones (except for the SSR Razkull which has the same exhaust type port as the Grom and also uses 3 engine bolts like the Grom, hence needing the adapter plate to do the swap).

I think someone reused their factory exhaust with the zs190... but the factory exhaust is pretty restrictive. I'd go with one of the exhausts that people are currently running.

I believe that the Piranha engines are based off the CRF50 engine design which ours is based on as well. So should be the same as our current engines... I can't really confirm though.
