zhejiang lingyu 150 scooter
ii have a zhejiang lingyu 150 scooter, i purchased a 24 mm carburetor from motopartsmax.com .this carb has all the same measurements .on the original the slide diaphragm melted. the new carb has a vacuum pump on the right side mine doesn't. the original one has a hose connector tube at the base of carb on intake side . can this be adapted to work on this scooter?

50cc carb describes the extra metal tube as "charcoal canister hook-up". |

I would definitely use the Keihin; it's a superior design. Notice that it has an exposed pilot mixture screw, whereas the stock carb is capped in that spot.
Just route the overflow hose of the new carb towards the ground. You must have a vacuum nipple on the intake tube; just connect hose that's on the new carb tee to that. The remaining nipple that is on the tee connects to your fuel pump. Please let us know the result.
