crf 230 Exhaust 03-16

its my under standing the 2003-2016 crf 230 full exhaust fits on the hawk 250 ,in combination with the vm26 mikuni carb

Yes, the crf230f exhuasts fit the hawk. The flange still needs to be slotted or drilled, but it does fit.

sloting the what cat ???,is there one that fits without the sloting wich parts ,i hear there is a thread or sticky about gutting the the stock one cat an taking out the baffle ,though i dont like the way the stock exhaust turns like right away it seems will rust before summer is over ,i would like mabey a bit better one

All your are doing is slotting/cutting or drilling the "Exhaust Flange" to fit the head stud/nut design, basically anyone with a grinder/cutoff wheel or a nice drill/bit can get the yob done


I think Motocheese has a video on it? If it is the same or similar exhaust he starts messing with the exhaust flange around 2 minutes 35 seconds... also the price of those ebay exhaust systems has gone down since that video went up
