I use Ride on in my 17" tubeless Sport Bike tires.
The Stan's seems to work better with Tubliss, but they are both good products. |

I will give Stans a try. As long as it means I can escape sitting at the side of the road, then it is good in my book.

Well, my welder sold yesterday. Got a bit less for it than I was asking, but I still feel like I didn't sacrifice too much in the name of a sale. More than enough to cover most of the upgrades that disappeared with my bike and a couple of new ones thanks to a couple of generous freebies from Matt and the gentleman sending me the exhaust.
With all of the crap I am going to be doing to the bike during assembly, I have a feeling that assembly might actually take a little longer than last time. Hopefully I can still get it done in one weekend.

Have you considered filming some of the finer points for your YouTube channel? If the vids are around six minutes or less, a lot of people can find the time to watch them. You could always link to the vids on this forum.
Your pics and write-ups are always excellent; videos just add that extra dimension that pics can't offer. I'm really looking forward to following your progress.

Meh. I only speak for myself, but I'm not looking for production value; it's tech that I crave. If I want production value, I'll watch Born Moto.

I can take about 1 hour of video, cut it down and edit it to adout 10 mins and have it posted in under an hour. you would be shocked how easy it can be.

It's not that I don't know how to edit as much as I am just not very good at it for a few reasons. That is why my video style tends to be very "one take" in style.

I know I can make a lousy video. I want to make better than that and aim for slightly turdlike.
Good thing I don't listen to most people and tend to do my own thing. I actually kind of enjoy the video stuff, even though I rarely ever have time or remember. I am not talking some long drawn out build series here, just covering the overall work on the bike in a broad spectrum such as things to look for and do during assembly that are often not mentioned like relocating wiring that may get pinched and checking ground points, but also making stand alone videos covering some things that new riders/owners may be too afraid to do themselves. One example would be a video on the front end. A video covering a basic fork oil change, and at the same time a video covering How to service the Hawk steering stem bearings, and why the grease they come with is total garbage. Some people can read books, but others need/want a visual aid. Plus, no matter how you slice it, there were many people that had a hand in helping me out of a bad situation, and this is the only way I know how to pay it back and pay it forward. Grabbing a camera to show what I am doing, or talk about why I am doing it doesn't take that much time. I am already meticulous when it comes to doing this kind of work. I spent 3 days off and on building my last Hawk. not all at once, but a few hours each, probably 12-14 hours in total.

That road was nice, plus your TT250 has a nice exhaust note. Was that your white Challenger at end of the video? If so I love mine. Ya gotta film some stuff Dan, you've been threatening to do it so sucks it up and get your camera gear together! These channels are designed to evolve so don't worry how they start out .....just start.
