The 300, which actually a 260 will climb anything and has plenty of power. top speed is about 30 mph going down hill with a tail wind. It will buck you off plenty fast enough, but I'd go with only the 4 wheel drive version. I feel safer going up hills with it. I have a rhino too, the 300's climb as well as the rhino but are not as fast on the flat straights. Rhino does about 38 before the govener cuts in and it feels more stable at the higher speed.

Looks like the linhai has rear independent, which can be make a huge ride diff over rocky terrain. looks like a 360 engine size that plenty of parts are available for . I'd go for it, the price is great!!!

the other thing, I would look at is the carb. The carb in these things are constantly getting the idle jet plugged up, even with upgraded fuel filters.it is the ethynhol. So see if you can work a couple of spare carbs into the deal, they usually have extra's sitting around in the parts dept.

carb plugging

yes the ethanly is crap.... use high test or premium fuel or other fuel... use some additive if possible to stop the fuel going back..... how much time do you waste witht he savings on cheap fuel.... not worth it...stop ride fix... just spend the extra for good fuel and JUST RIDE...

I have a lot of clearing of downed trees/limbs and pulling of stumps etc. to do in an area with steep, rocky hills. Got a Tao 125 Tforce but that's not capable on the hills, but good to have around for the kids and odd runs around the property. But I need something to handle the work and the hills. Looking at getting Vitacci 300 (which I understand is same as Linhai). Comes with a winch and trailer hitch. Electric switch to change to 4x4, Manual low or hi gear shift. Water cooled (might be a downside?). I see on this thread many have older 300s...I'd imagine there have been improvements by now to some of the issues mentioned?

Link to the Vitacci 300 (not where I'm getting it).

Any feedback as far as how these quads would serve my stated purpose and any suggestions/ no brainer mods for this year's model etc. would be appreciated. Thanks!
