I still have my stock chain with zero miles on it wrapped in plastic sitting on a shelf lol.

For comparison, after 1400 miles, my EK SROZ o-ring chain that I took off for the 520 conversion is still in perfect shape. I never had to adjust it after the initial installation and first ride.

So here is an update. I finally did receive a package last week from Texas powersports of replacement parts. It took way longer than I would have guessed seeing as the shipping label was created weeks before it actually shipped. Customer service wasn't the greatest...I couldn't get an answer from anyone as to when the package was going to ship, or what was actually inside the package... seriously, nobody was able to tell me what was being shipped to me...
Either way, it eventually showed up and was a wheel with bushings and a little bag of studs with the nuts and snap ring. This is great. This is what I needed. I did not use the studs. I took the advise of Dan and went with his cure.

Finally got the hawk on the road!!! Took it to work for the first time yesterday in 30 degree weather. So much fun. Ran great. I put a new mikuni carb, exhaust, 17 and 45 sprockets, chain, opened up the airbox, tightened and loctite on everything and I was stoked to be on the open road.

And then...on my way home from work I got to feel like what it feels like to get a flat tire in the rear while riding. I thought at first my wheel was falling off! So I pulled over and discover there was a flat. I was able to push it to a garage like 100 feet from the gas station I pulled over in. The tire would not hold air...I figured that the tube got punctured by a spoke.

Either way my buddy came and picked me up and we went to a local bike shop/garage. They were able to put me back on the road with a heavy duty tube in about a half an hour.
The mechanic said that the tube just split open along the side...nothing punctured it...anyway he hooked me up. I was worried about him loctiting everything when he was done but he did put this yellow stuff that looks like a spot weld on each nut. Never seen it before but it seems rugged.

So now I happy to be back on the road and just waiting for the next failure to happen. Enjoying the hawk even as I am hammering out the kinks...

Glad to hear that you can finally enjoy your purchase. Hopefully you had both tubes replaced, because they are both made to the same quality. If not, replace the other one when you get a chance.

Don't forget to check and tighten up those spokes either, if you haven't already.

You had what I like to call the typical Texaspowersports experience. I do my best not to deal with them unless I have no other choice.

You should give us some pics when you get a chance. Even though we have all seen a Hawk a few hundred times already lol.
