New guy, South Africa, 200gy
Good day
I'm new on the forum. I recently got a new "Wonjan wj200gy-b". I was scared of these chinese bikes, but after a lot of surfing and reading on this forum I decided it was worth the risk. I was happy to have found one in a crate. I wanted to assemble the bike myself and do the loctite thing and generally just make sure it is properly assembled. Lots of the bikes shops here in South Africa sell these chinese bikes, but just about every shop has a different name for it. (Lifan, Eurotrac, Retroquad and 100's of others). I'm not 100% sure of the origin of min, but in the owner's manual, it does refer twice to "your Zongshen dealer". I'm very happy and impressed with the bike. I'm planning to travel to work and back every day, 24km there and back. I've posted another comment about oil to be used and then I'll also need to ask about adjusting the front brake, I think my pads are too close to the disc. I hope in future we can help each other by exchanging information. Let me make this first message worth it, and spoil you with a pic or two. 1 pic, in the box 2 pic, unpacking 3 pic, assembled. I'll take pic's of the motor calipers etc. and upload later on. |

That crate looks well worn, but the bike is sweet.
Thanks for joining!

crate
I'll admit, I had my doubts when they brought out that box. Luckily on the inside it was only dust on the plastics, nothing else.
