Adventures on the hawk 250. Good and Bad

My buddy and i picked up our hawks about 2 months ago and so far we are putting them through hell to see what they can really do. We consider them disposable at the price they sell for so other than mod curiosity and maintenance they will be beat on.

After i put on 750 miles it was time for a trip

Salmon fishing season is in full tilt so the bike gets a endurance test. We rode them 500 miles from Howell Mi. To Manistee Mi. Went salmon fishing had a very good time and them rode them home. Only issue we had is we got sick of the high rev spuddle so we swapped the spark plug oit for a champion. We did this to both bikes in walmart parking lot. Super quick but let me tell you im have to see it to prove it kind of guy. This plug swap made a huge diffrence in high rev stability.

Yes, I'm afraid Chinese spark plugs leave a lot to be desired. But one of the best plugs for this engine is the NGK Iridium plug. They run very well on that plug, and it lasts a long time...ARH
