I have a TaoTao, but I don't know which model?

This was acquired sitting in front of someone's yard.

It's a project quad, but I have no idea what model number it is. It's clearly a 4 stroke due to having a drain plug for oil and whatnot.

There is only one ID plate I've found and it says:
TZH157FMI
B0750097

I tried registering on TaoTao USA site, but that just gave me a "thanks for registering" and there doesn't seem to be a way to look stuff up. I need to know the exact model to get the right battery, and any other parts like plastics, etc.

Can anyone help me on this please? Thanks!

Welcome to the forum motc7777.

Can't tell too much from the number except it is air cooled and a 200cc-250cc engine. If you can a picture is worth a thousand words... any dates from the plate mounted on the front helps too.

The engine number indicates a 125cc class with a 57mm bore.

Someone may be able to help with model info if you can post a pic.

Is it a plate or a sticker on the front? I'm not finding any other type of plate for this thing. Where exactly would it be located?

My bad I read the chart wrong... Mudflap is correct.

yeah its on the front side of the ATV. A picture helps the most.

On both of my Taotao 250s there is a VIN# etched into the frame on the right side on the very front tube. Don't know if the smaller ones are the same or if the VIN# will tell you anything.

Other than the name & make for your paperwork... you do not need the make for parts.. they are generic ... the battery and stuff is a fitall... the main thing is pics... is there a plate with the manufacture company name on the front or so..?? a steel plate.. I think the vin might tell you some thing.. post the pics & numbers they you can get action

the TZH is the manufacture of motor.... who made it....... they all have different letters for that... this is the number 4 -5 engine maker in china for the motor style..( Honda clone )

I found the VIN finally thought it was hard to read

L5MAFMCT18F184506. says it's made by Konced. Have no idea who this is. Trying to get a photo but thought this might help
