Photos and questions of parts ATV

Anybody know anything about this ATVs? Two are made by a company called Linhai. The are called Rebel 80s. I'm assuming this means "80 ccs"?

Do they have some sort of variable automatic transmission? They seem to be well built compared to the "Peace" models I've seen.

This one hear, I'm not sure of. 50 ccs maybe?

This Panther has a rear foot brake. The master cylinder is attached to the frame!

I think one of these Rebel 80s would make a good battery powered "Beach cruiser" at the campground because it is big enough to haul my daughter and me around.

I did some research on repurposing old electric motors and seems using one from a dryer or washing machine is the best choice. I still don't see how you can run a 110 volt AC motor off a 12 volt battery.

Luckily the dryer at my parents beach house bit the dust so we are going to replace it next week when I am down there so I'm going to rob the motor off it and give it a shot.

The goal:

Maximum speed of 10 MPH (campground speed limit), maximum range, enough torque for pulling out.

Most of those bikes are going to be full auto or semi auto. If there is a kick starter probly semi auto, if no kick starter probly full auto. Another important issue is the starter motor. Two versions. Starter motor on top the engine or starter motor below the engine.
