This is pretty much the same scam they have been running for years, yet people still get tangled up in it, It amazes me.

Better yet Matt, you may want to deposit that money in MY account (just mail a check) to keep it safe. It's the least I can do for a swell guy who provides great dash clusters!

The way some scammers work it is if they buy a $100 item and they send a check for $200. Then they say opps I made the check out for the wrong amount, please just send me the difference. Since the checks are fraudulent it may take the bank months to find out (insufficient funds are found quicker than a forged check). Then the bank takes the $200 out of your account. The scammer ends up with the merchandise and $100.
Still... this one sounds ok, just send him your bank account info... |

Context is i get 2-3 of these a week from my clusters e-mail. How they find this e-mail is beyond me......
