BAJA MOTORSPORTS RECALLS 16,000 YOUTH ATVS

I didn't know if everyone know about this.Just a heads up to anyone with one of theses atvs.

Baja Motorsports has issued a recall on 16,000 youth ATVs due to lack of equipment, which poses an injury risk to riders, reported ABC Action News (FL). “According to the US Consumer Product Safety Commission, the ATVs lack a tire pressure gauge and flag pole mounting bracket, which could pose a risk of injury to riders,” the paper explained. The recalled youth ATV models include the Baja 90, Baja Wilderness 90 and Baja Wilderness 90u, it said, adding, the vehicles were sold in blue, green, red and camouflage color schemes with ‘Baja’ written on the side of each gas tank. Vehicle owners should contact Baja Motorsports at 866-250-7188 to receive a free tire pressure gauge and flagpole mounting bracket, ABC Action News concluded.

Glad that someone is pointing out these safety risks...
How about changing the grips because they are ruff and could give my kids hand a blister...that could become infected....I'm calling the papers. :P

The dust these things kick up makes it a safety concern but could be fixed with a clear protective bubble with filtered positive air pressure.

Almost sounds like a way to get free advertizing but no one at baja motorsports would stoop so low as to make a simple recall item just to get their name and product plastered on the news.

My car didn't come with an air pressure gauge, obviously a serious safety defect! I guess I will be forced to sue Fomoco for big bucks!
