I was thinking that too... But, there are not that many places on the bike that need those... And I have soooo many of these. Is it possible that they were just grab happy at the factory with these grommets and they just threw a crap load into my bag? I have about 2 dozen! I simply cannot see where all of these would be needed.

I'm hoping some folks on here can confirm that they also got "extra" parts..

I know on my Hawk I got quite a few extra screws/washers/rubber washers. Nice to have some spares.

Thanks, that makes me feel a lot better. I was perplexed on how little work is left and the number of these washers/grommets left in the bag.

the enforcer is alive and breathing

ok guys got the bike assembled yesterday before work,,,charged the battery and changed the oil,,,bet the motor didn't turn 10 times before she came to life...all is good the carb is a little lean will adjust that later....the good news it does have a 46 tooth rear sprocket haven't looked at the front just yet...the only problem I had was the rear turn signals hade a wire cut into,,,got that fixed and ready to go know...only have 2 washers and 1 rubber grommet left over. remote start is nice will start up without the switch being turned on or in the ignition.,will post some pics later this week if no rain......
Ski Rush take your time and think things through...its not that complicated there are vids on you tube if you need them...

Grommets. On the TT250, they slip through the mount holes in on the bottom edge of the gas tank to hold the front of the side covers. They like to pop out if you don't spit on the little peckers when you push them through.
