First, it's a little weird not knowing exactly what will be in the box... For example, will the engine be more Bashan Brozz like (like Don said), or will it be more Hawk like. I've read on this forum that for Hawks, people change the oil immediately and the spark plug. I'm guessing the same is true for the Bashan engine too (if that's what it has). What spark plug do I get if it has a more Bashan like engine? Is it the same as the one for the hawk? Please confirm.

Second, I've read that 20w40 is the more preferred oil type, in this correct? When I go to the auto parts store, what should I ask for? How much oil does one oil change require?

I've read about the heat cycles and running it and letting it cool 3 times with very short runs. Then, changing the oil again. Do I just change it after all 3 cycles or after each cycle...Sorry for the silly question.

Last, besides the oil, spark plug, and heat cycles, is there anything else I'm missing?

Thanks!
Most people use Shell Rotella T-5. Available at Wal-Mart....ARH

Thumbs Up Enforcer has made it home!

The Enforcer (what ever it might look like) has made it home. I got a call from the shipping terminal this morning at 7:15am. The guys says, "I have your crate here and just wanted to let you know we close at 9am". What?! I had to rush to get the kids ready for preschool and daycare and drive an hour away. Sucked. The good news is that bike is home. I'm waiting until my father in law gets here at noon to unload it.

For what it's worth, the box does have a check mark indicating the color is "Red".

It will look perfect in back of that red truck Or should I say next to the truck. I used my ATV ramps and slid it out buy myself. I wasn't going to wait around for someone to help. The suspense is killing me. lol

Sweet! Nope non counterbalanced just like I thought. Can't wait to see what the tooth count is on the sprockets, what battery, carb, spark plug.

I just got off the phone with APSC regarding my hawk 250 order. They told me they upgraded me to the Bashan Enforcer and it should ship out today.

From what he said I'm pretty sure APSC is not selling the hawk anymore. He said they are going to be sending out the enforcer since it is basically an upgraded hawk.

So I guess I'll be 3rd to join the Enforcer group!
Hopefully mine comes in by the end of this week. I guess I'll be able to get a preview of what I'll receive by the pics of your enforcers.
