Successful registration in NY for my new Hawk!!
I was really nervous about getting denied even though I have read success stories here, but all it all went without a hitch at the Rochester, NY DMV. I just want to thank everyone in the forum for all their help and support!

I have a good feeling that some of our Hawks are going to be around 20 years from now.

You guys aren't even close to each other, and were both successful. I keep thinking that NY is similar in communist tendencies to California which has its own air-quality bureaucracy above and beyond federal law in which manufacturers have to pass separate emission testing to get certified. Most Chinese companies don't bother with California. However, in this one area, motorcycles, it seems that NY is far more lenient as far as registration. Congrats to both of you!
