Guess I should start by introducing myself, I live in New Hampshire and I've been lurking around on this site for longer than I hate to admit. I've been on the fence about purchasing a dual sport bike. I have read far to many posts on the Storm, Brozz and Hawk that it's hard for me to keep the bikes straight. I really liked the Brozz and thought that I'd wait until spring to pull the trigger, but I happened to stumble on the end of year sale at ASPCUAS and couldn't pass up the deal. I spoke to Don today and confirmed the sale and received my confirmation email shortly there after. If all goes well I should have a disassembled Hawk in my garage by the early part of next week!! So far ASPCUSA has been great to deal with, the shipping charges are reasonable, I was quoted 249 to my door or 149 if I pick it up at the shipper. The shipper is located less that a mile from my work so that's where I'll take ownership of the bike. Final price of $1098!!!
Woohoo!!! I have mod money left over!! And to everyone on this site for the knowledge you've provided in helping me feel comfortable about purchasing a "China bike". Tom |

Yeah that Don guy at apscusa seemed really knowledgeable and helpful, if all works out well I will buy an atv from him as well. He said he sends out the MCO that day as well.

Cheap Bastard Trophy!! LMAO, I'm going to use that one!! I'm located in Candia, just East of Manchester on 101 heading towards the seacoast. I have friends that live in Franconia and try to "visit" in the winter for some slope time at Cannon Mt. I hope this isn't a omen but the strangest thing happened while I was surfing "China Riders" last night, I saw a flash and sparks outside my window and the power went out. I went outside to see what had happened; a tree branch had fallen and took down the power line outside my house, it literally broke the line in two with one end on one side of the drive way and the other end on the other side. I called in the down line and power was back on in just over two hours. As indicated by my site name I'm an electrician, my neighbor is a retired lineman, and I have several friends that work for the electrical utility, when the line truck showed we only needed a few beers to make it a party!! The voodoo in all of this is the power came back on at 12:00 midnight, I didn't have to reset any of the clocks in the house??? |

Please make sure you take a lot of pics of your package upon it's arrival, the assembly process, and anything else you think might benefit a hopeful CB owner. oh, and a beginning-to-end review of your purchase from that vendor would also be info GOLD to other hopefull owners in the future. [thumbsup] |
