I don't think they are going to extinction, but the supply of however many container loads is selling out, and the importer/distributor has not ordered anymore (maybe to drive up the prices?!), or they are taking their sweet time getting here.

Just a little fyi.I called Tim at vbike with my concerns of the posible shortages on the hibird.His reply to me was that his enduro sales have been huge this year and has had no issues with them.He also said he is an importer and there will be no lull in getting them.He also said thet he is excited about the 2008's comming in.
I don't know much about import and exports of these units but Tim has prooven to be up front and honest with me scince day on of dealing with him so I feel pretty confident when he tells me not to worry about getting bikes and parts for them.
