But your videos tell me that I'm old and my belly is big. Then they try to hook me up with hot Asian women.
I think I have watched your exhaust video about ten times.

How much more power do you think the exhaust gives you?

Sadly because I had the issues with my valve adjustment I have no comparison. Mine was never working right with the stock exhaust. I know a few others have done it so hopefully they can comment.

Mine went from 58mph WOT to 66mph WOT with the exhaust mod.

Soon I'll be able to tell how much a gain going from stock exhaust with cat to stock exhaust without cat gets you. I really think the cat is what kills the stock exhaust. The original Hawk exhaust has a muffler that is somewhat restrictive, but, the current ones have a pretty darn good muffler.

So my saga continues...
I went from 105/20 to 115/30 main/pilot. In order to get it to idle I had to go all the way in on the mixture adjustment screw. I believe this means I need to go down on the pilot. I am going to try 27.5. I am also getting some slight hiccups at WOT. I am guessing I only want to mess with one jet at a time? I know the pilot is not supposed to matter at WOT but I imagine it sucks gas from everywhere. Also I still only have ~300 miles on the bike. Should I just wait it out? I know others say a 115/30 for intake/exhaust mods is right. |

Pete says that both jets affect WOT. I only make one change at a time, so I can quantify results.

BTW, jetting depends on your specific elevation, so what works for someone else might not be right for you.

ok so in the past week I have done the following.
Wrapped the exhaust. led headlight flush led turn signals in the back only. mjstef cluster. I keep the first post updated with links to everything I have bought. I have made this bike pretty custom and I have spent just over 2k including the bike. Hard to beat the value |

I'd make the adjustments, but, be prepared for more adjustments once it is broken in.
