That's a beautiful motorcycle. However, I wonder why they routed the exhaust headers so low.

It's a true "center fold", but I seriously doubt there's enough market for "hard-core" adventure bikes. We're a minority of weirdos

That is one good looking machine...And we'll probably never see that one in the USA...
I would give my eye teeth for an XTZ660...not sold here.

Thanks for the eye candy, though.

LOL!

At least we have each other ;-)

I don't know why manufactuers don't include luggage racks and big tanks. Don't they think anyone might want to go somewhere on one of these super cool bikes?

Finally I agree with Spud, the exhaust routing looks vunerable.

Other than that looks awesome. I don't know what it weighs but it 'looks' light.

I would be happy with a 650cc Tenere. The 650 Tenere is offered in other countries, but not the US.

i took a 660 tenere for a ride before i bought the XT660R trail version..
the tenere was heavy & top heavy...209kgs where the XT660R
was 175kgs...
add a bit of gear to the Tenere then yer pushing near 1/4 ton...

waiting for the new 700 tenere to hit the market early 2017
it uses the MT07 motor , inline twin...
hope it's not a over weight porker....

My XT660R.... slightly modded....
