Just under the Swing Arm to the right of the rear tire and above/left of the 'skid plate'

The 390 Duke and RC390 are VERY affordable. Made in India.
My bet is that this bike will be a good value also. Indian quality is not nearly as good as Austrian but should be fine. I have enjoyed riding my Indian made Royal Enfield which has been trouble free. WHY can't anyone made a bike with a decent sized tank and luggage rack?? I'd have opted for one of these rather than the DRZ except I stole the DRZ and it works well enough for this particular old dude.

The exhaust is a shocker for an ADv bike.. never changed from the duke..
once this hits the market there will be a raft of after market high system not to long down the track...

Yep, the more I look at it the more impressive it is. The lower exhaust routing is the design standard to obviously accentuate the open view between the rear wheel and fender. It looks like a light weight design, I bet it is.

My concern for the exhaust will be it's vunerability.
There is a BIG advantage to it's placement though; it won't interfere with panniers and the bags will be able to be mounted much closer to the bike. That's a big deal for an ADV bike. Since it's intended mission (as I see it) will be off road touring and ADV riding and not motoctoss jumping etc I think the exhaust placement is a fair tradeoff. I'd stay off toaster sized rocks with it though. I do that anyways nowadays!

"The 390 Duke and RC390 are VERY affordable. Made in India."
Agreed. The KTM 390 series offers an uncommonly great amount of performance for the dollar, and the ADV will hopefully do the same. If the new KTM ADV is expensive, you can outfit a 390 Duke with ADV accessories like bags, tires and a small windscreen. (That sounds kind of fun BTW.)
