I've watched and enjoyed the vids from MJ, Moto and PC, they were all great. If I were a Hawk owner I would be chomping at the bit for one too. Well done MJ. It was neat watching this thing grow from a forum posting to an actual sweet piece of instrumentation!

ok 2 quick things

1. Motocheese I believe I found what the buzzing noise from the display is, when i went for a ride today i noticed when i first started the bike that the small blue display vibrated a little bit when i was revving the bike. So without taking the tach apart I would have to guess that the display might be a tiny bit loose. I'll see if i can get it on film tommorow morning

2. This one is for everyone I don't know how much night riding everyone does but I noticed a distinct lack of what the display looks like at night so please everyone enjoy

Moto found the buzzing. It was the cluster hitting the key switch......

Been e-mailing back and forth with China tonight. Ordering another 50 units. Hope it's enough but i have a lot of cash out on jobs with my company right now and really cannot put much more out lol. Can always make another order if they start "Flying Off The Shelf"!

I wish I had watched the video before the install. I cut the neutral wire thinking that all the clips would be from the new harness.

other than that, it went together easy-peasy.

I got it switched to the 19 inch calibration. had a little trouble figuring out how to get it from kph to mph, but finally got it. for those that have any problems with it, just hold the button down about 5 seconds and it switches over.

Oh...and I must have done something wrong since mine installed right side up, unlike Chuck's. :-D

I bent the bracket upwards to get a better view of the display screen and I cast a spacer out of epoxy for a better fit.

Time for a Micuni carb.

Mine starts better than yours after sitting a week with no choke.
Factory carb was just like your video.
