Wishing you well on your trip. I have always wanted to ride a DualSport across country. Waiting to see some pictures of your trip and how well your Bike does on this Adventure.

Eve is doing great, had a few adventures on the way.. but doing fine.
Little bike is running like a champ although she was complaining it was cutting out. She had the fuel tap mid position between on and res so I'm hoping that was the issue??
Here is her progress so far.. I won't steal her Thunder as she promised some pics once she finds wifi. She covered about a 1000 miles.. and succesfully changed the oil on the way.. I'm totally impressed

This is very cool and inspirational....and speaks volumes for both her spirit and the durability of the CG motored China Bike.

Brave!!

I'm not sure I would have the mindset to make a journey such as this on my own. I'm impressed. I'm also impressed by the offers of help by many on the board. It's good to have some support along the way if needed.

Safe ride and I'm eager to hear some of the sound samples you take on the way for your music.

Only a big smiling Eve with a fishing rod and fish she caught, I asked where she was and she said a "Lake in Oklahoma" lol OK, a few txt's since then.. just asking if 93 octane was OK in these bikes, I generally use 87 but anyway, nothing for 24 hours. She ok and maybe not liking too much fuss. Maybe I'm pushing for too much info and she's making her own trip story?? Don't know. But I'll try and get an update without coming over as a mother hen haha.

Big Storms Threaten High Plains Friday

She better move east or find some high ground

After a couple of quiet days on the storm front nationally, the spring storm season gets back on track Friday. Strong storms will cause problems across the high Plains later Friday.

Things are already starting to get interesting across the western U.S. A big Pacific storm system is moving ashore and will move across the Northwest and Rockies today and early Friday.

Later on Friday, a cold front will depart the Rockies and slide out across the western High Plains. Ahead of the front, a southerly flow across the High Plains and plenty of early sunshine will push temperatures into the 80s, destabilizing the atmosphere.

The combined push of the cold front and the warm temperatures will feed the development of strong to severe thunderstorms across the High Plains extending from West Texas and the Texas Panhandle northward into eastern Colorado, southwestern Nebraska, and western Kansas. The biggest risks from these storms will be large hail and damaging winds. A couple of isolated tornadoes cannot be ruled out. Lubbock and Amarillo, Texas, and Garden City, Kansas, could see these storms.

The risk for severe storms will shift slightly southward Saturday as the main upper-level energy of the Pacific system slides across into the Southwest and the Four Corners. This will put the highest instability risk across much of West Texas and the Texas Panhandle. Once again, hail and damaging winds will be the biggest danger from these storms.

Be sure to follow WeatherBug over the next several days to get the latest on the severe storm potential.
