The magnets are brilliant!
I though I was clever on my Yamaha when I replaced the seat bolts with spring latches, but I like the magnets better now. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...=sr_1_1&sr=8-1 |

Paisleyrider, not seeing what the magnets accomplish. Everything on the seat pan and below it is plastic. Did you add some steel at the opportune places opposite the magnets on the front seat? Trying to get my meager brain wrapped around your great idea. Can you post a close up pic of the area and that would show me clouded brain thingy how it's done. thanks rj

RJ, I put matching magnets on the seat itself. If I did it again I would just put beefy magnets on the seat and have them attract the metal of the frame. Simpler and might lower the seat a tad.
