2005.5 950 Adventure S

It's a 2005.5 KTM 950 Adventure S. Great bike but it's time for me to sell it. I'm getting ready to advertise it at $9500 in the Pittsburgh Cycle Trader.

Yeah, I'd have no trouble selling it for that! Buyers would be lined up for that deal. With all the extras I have on it, I could never let it go for that. Honestly, I doubt I'd take less than $9500 for it. That's my rock bottom price. The KTM is a great bike. It was my dream bike. Very fast and very expensive. I'm just wanting to downsize a little and get something easier to work on and that I can put more miles on. This bike is covered by the factory KTMCare extended warranty until 2010. If I end up keeping it, I'll just start racking up the miles as fast as I can on it. In 2010 I'll let you have it for $6000.

i picked it up saturday and i havent gotten off it since .... the goods,- well let me start by saying i dont hold a motorcycle license and this is my first bike. im new to all things street legal but i have alot of dirt and mechanical experience ...... i will be filming it this week sometime ....

the thing is awesome haha i love the looks of a supermoto and i like the warranty. it is 1 down 4 up and it has a l.e.d. indicator to tell you what gear your in and that makes it easy for a newby. the seat is very comfy and the hand grips are right at my level. the controls are easy to reach with your thumb. i am a little bias now that i own one but i love it .....

things that i think need improvments--- the odometer is in kmh not mph and the mph numbers are harder to read at speed. the factory mirrors arent out enough to see be hind you you have to tuck your arms to get a good look.... the shift & brake lever is to close to the frame you have to go at them like your pigeon toed?? the speed that they say it tops out at is 88mph but i being 6 foot 265lbs had to go at it hard to get it above 60 yeah i know its just a 200...
the thing is real cold natured but it fires and runs great after a proper warming period ... the last thing is the head light it just aint bright enough in any setting and i still havent figured out how to adjust it ...

these are the things i have noticed and again im a big boy riding a 200? i dont expect it to be a supermoto either just a daily driver to go from huntington wv to crosslanes wv 55 miles one way?

xf200: These bikes are lean jetted from factory. Change to a bigger main jet (Mikuni big round type, you can try size 130-135) and adjust the fuel screw (out)

xf200: You should be able to find the Mikuni jets at any motorcycle dealer.
